One free move to another day
A free move is the one change of date that costs nothing: asked for over a day ahead, to a date within fourteen days, with the deposit carried over.
A visitor's plans are at the mercy of the weather, the queues and his own legs. The free move exists for that. Once per booking, you may shift it to another date without losing anything.
The two conditions
The request has to reach the booking thread more than twenty-four hours before the booked start, and the new date has to fall within fourteen days of the original one. If both are met, the deposit travels to the new date intact and nothing is kept.
What happens outside those conditions
A second move, or a move asked for inside the final twenty-four hours, is read on the cancellation scale exactly as a cancellation sent at that moment would be. Whatever the scale does not keep travels across to the new date. So a move asked for on the afternoon of the booking, before she has set out, carries half the deposit forward.
A typical case
A guest books ninety minutes for Thursday evening, then learns on Tuesday that his museum slot has been moved to Thursday afternoon and he would rather rest that day. He writes on Tuesday asking for Saturday instead. That is more than twenty-four hours ahead and well within fourteen days, so the EUR 135 deposit simply moves to Saturday.
