Massage Amsterdam after a museum day
Outcall, 40 to 60 minutesA museum day asks less of the legs in distance and more in time: hours standing on hard floors, walking at the pace of a crowd, looking up at canvases taller than you are. This page covers the massage Amsterdam visitors book for the evening after the galleries close, in their own room, with a therapist at the door forty to sixty minutes after they confirm.
Why galleries tire you more than a walk
A brisk walk moves the legs in long steady strides. A gallery does the opposite: a few steps, a long stop, a few more steps, and the weight shifting from one foot to the other in front of every painting. Add a queue outside in the wind, a cloakroom that keeps your coat for four hours, an audio guide hanging from your neck and a head tipped back to see the upper rows of a crowded wall. By the time the last rooms close, visitors often feel more tired than after a day of walking, without quite knowing why.
The museum quarter and where she sets out from
The big galleries sit around the Museumplein in Oud-Zuid, and a good share of visitors stay nearby. Six of the twenty-three therapists set out from Oud-Zuid itself, and the others travel from the centre, De Pijp and the Jordaan, all within reach of the quarter. Forty to sixty minutes from your confirmation to her knock holds across central Amsterdam, whether you are staying beside the gardens of the square or in a room above a canal. Airport hotels at Schiphol are a separate arrangement, with the journey time agreed first.
Booking as the last room closes
Closing time is fixed and printed on your ticket, which makes a museum day easy to plan around. A message written from the café on the ground floor at half past four, asking for seven, leaves time to walk back, eat something and shower. Visitors who spend two days in the galleries often book the first evening in advance and the second on the day. A booking made more than twenty-four hours ahead carries half the fee in advance; so does a first booking with the house, even for the same evening.
A second gallery day, and a massage Amsterdam evening between them
Visitors who give the galleries two days usually find the second one harder than the first, because the legs remember. Placing the evening booking between the two days is the arrangement they tend to repeat on later trips: the first day in the paintings, the evening lying down, the second day in the other building with the prints and the photographs. If you already know the dates, the first evening can be fixed before you travel, with half the fee confirmed ahead; the second can be decided on the day, depending on how the morning feels.
Massage Amsterdam after the galleries: choosing the format
A museum day fills the head as much as it tires the legs, which is why tantra massage, paced by breathing and better at ninety minutes than at sixty, is the format many of these visitors choose. Two hours at 360 euros gives the slow opening room to work. Sensual massage offers the same slowness without the ritual, and an hour or ninety minutes of oil work suits a guest who wants the plain version. If your eyes are tired and your mind keeps listing paintings, choose the slow end of the menu.
Telling her about the day
A sentence in the thread is enough: six hours standing, a lot of looking up, a coat carried from room to room. She plans with that in mind, though what the session includes remains her decision, and she explains her limits before anything starts. Nothing here claims that an evening session changes how the next gallery day will feel; what is offered is an evening lying down in a warm room after one spent upright. Guests who expect exactly that are rarely disappointed.
Getting the room ready
Take off the day: a shower, loose clothes, the heating turned up. Museum visitors often come back with tote bags, catalogues and postcards; clear them off the bed before she arrives. Switch the ceiling light off and leave one lamp on. If the hotel has given you a room facing the street, draw the curtains early. Towels and oil come with her, and nothing else is needed from the room or the hotel.
Figures, written once
For one guest with one therapist: 180 euros for an hour, 270 for ninety minutes, 360 for two hours, 540 for three and 1,250 for the eight hour overnight, all taxes included. Two therapists for one guest cost 360 an hour; a couple with one therapist also pays 360, and with a therapist each 720. Nothing is added for the evening, the weekend or her journey across the centre. The same table appears on every profile, so it is always within reach when you choose.
If the day changes
A timed ticket moves, a gallery closes a wing, a second visit gets pushed to tomorrow. With more than twenty-four hours of notice, the deposit is returned whole, and one move to a date within fourteen days is free if asked for before that point. Inside the last day, before she has left, half of the deposit is kept. Once she is travelling, all of it is kept, unless another guest takes the hour, in which case it is repaid. A same-day booking with no deposit costs nothing to cancel before she sets out.
Naming a therapist
Each profile on the roster gives her age, languages, district and photographs. Put a name on the first line of your message with the hotel, the hour and the length beneath it; the reply tells you whether she is free, and if she is not, who is. She decides which bookings she accepts, sets the limits of every session and may end a visit at any point. Every person in the room, you included, has to be twenty-one or over. Read the questions page for the rest.
Tariff
The posted hoursBy the hour
| 1 hour | €180 |
|---|---|
| 2 hours | €360 |
| 3 hours | €540 |

An hour after the third costs another 180 euros for one guest with one therapist, added when the booking is agreed or asked about on the evening itself.
The overnight is a fixed block of eight hours at 1,250 euros for one guest, agreed ahead as one figure rather than counted hour by hour.
A single guest with two therapists pays 360 euros an hour, 540 for ninety minutes, 720 for two hours and 2,880 for the eight hour night.
For a couple, one shared therapist is 360 an hour and 2,500 for the night; one therapist each is 720 an hour and 5,760 for the night.
Every figure already includes all taxes, and nothing is added for a Sunday, a late hour or her journey across the centre.
Outcall only: the session happens in your hotel room or apartment, and there are no premises to walk to after a day of walking.
Airport hotels at Schiphol use the same figures, with the journey time agreed with you before anything is fixed.
